The First Step To A Good Marketing Strategy Is Coffee...

Coffee

First things first, when it comes to creating a good marketing strategy, sit down, focus and have a good cup of java. All good things start with some arabica bean fuel!

A good marketing strategy is a plan that gives you all the tools you need to be successful. Many times we over think this process and over complicate our efforts to make more money for our businesses. Sometimes we oversimplify by not considering all the aspects of business development that will prove to make us successful. As a result we either have a step intensive process we do not adopt, or we have a simple process that doesn't work.

Here are some key tips to consider when developing your process.

1. Put the cart before the horse: Your process is only as good as the system you use to track it. First step in any process is the implementation of a good Customer Relationship Management System. If you have one great! If you don't, we can help. If you have one you don't use, we can help you with that, too!

2. Consider the numbers: Center your process around proven techniques that have proven results and analytics to prove them! Make sure you create messages that will be delivered on platforms that reach your audience. Don't depend on your audience coming to you! You waste your time and your message by not doing your research and reaching your audience where they spend their time!

3. Invest in your brand awareness: Make sure you use social media to build your brand and your reputation. People are relying more and more on Social Media platforms to corroborate who you say you are and to establish your business as legit. If you are not taking advantage of these tools, you are missing a powerful opportunity to connect with your buyers!

A good strategy is a well thought out, simple, effective method in which you execute, track, and have the appropriate amount of automation built into your relationship marketing efforts! Your efforts are only as good as your ability to measure them! Make sure you begin with the end in mind... And feel free to sip on another cup if it gets you there.
